Glad to see you guys again! The big day is here! I officially released my second book on Amazon.com and Kindle. The Post-Apocalyptic Society: A Nelson and Hyde Vendetta is an anthology with three stories. It features the Nelson family and their allies from my first volume. The series focuses on a thriving steampunk civilization who rose to power after widespread terrorism destroyed the United States and its infrastructure. It has post-apocalyptic and dystopian themes while maintaining hope through the chaos. You will see many of the same characters from my previous installment, plus new enemies. A Nelson and Hyde Vendetta will continue to feature steampunk technology, fashion, aesthetics, and values. The book will have plenty of action, excitement, and adventure. I thought it was important to make sure the reader can relate to my characters, even though their environment has strong roots in science fiction and fantasy. My second book introduces some new elements, including the horrors of atomic power, adventures with aviation, and noir elements with a dieselpunk flavor. There's plenty of variety in this book while maintaining consistent steampunk elements.
I'm going to thank my supporters, readers, and fans who gave me the inspiration to continue writing. A lot of hard work goes into a novel and I appreciate your encouragement. I want to give the steampunk subculture a lot of credit because they helped me develop many ideas. Their inclusiveness is very welcoming and I wish more people would adapt this open minded nature.
Here's a link to a Nelson and Hyde Vendetta's page on Amazon. You can buy the paperback version for $12.99 and the ebook on Kindle for $3.99. What if you don't have a Kindle device? No big deal! Simply download the Kindle app on your tablet, cell phone, or desktop. You can also purchase the ebook directly through Amacon.com and download it onto your Kindle tablet or app. I think we're going to have a lot of fun with this book. Let's explore the future together!
